We will start FAQ here, to answer most common questions. So if you have some then post below.

Q: GameGuard Shows error, what to do?
A: GameGuard can't start normaly. Some programs may be conflicting with it. Try deleting whole GameGuard folder and starting game again, it should redownload gg. Also make sure that hosts file is in place and the one we included in our patch. Also you may try closing all programs you dont realy need.
If all above doesn't help, this may mean that your host file is in wrong possition. This may acure on some firewall software installation or spyrware hijacking, try donwloading and running this program: WinSock Fix. After repairing your DNS settings you may need to restart the computer.

Kerio Firewall has a known conflict with gameguard: gameguard doesn't start properly (it gives ErrorCode=170 or ErrorCode=610) if Kerio is active. (by Crom)

Q: What ports game uses?
A: 1126 for login, 8686 for game server. To check if port is open run "telnet auth.bfdr.eu 1126", if telnet connects, then port is open otherwise it will say "can't open connection". You can ping auth.bfdr.eu to check your connection.

Q: What if port is closed?
A: Conntact your network administrator and ask to open it.

Q: I write login and password and press login, but nothing happens. What to do?
A: Check connection:
a) Check your internet connection.
b) Make sure you use latest patch from our website www.bfdr.eu.
c) Check if login port is open (read above).
d) Make sure you are not banned.

Q: I get disconnects or other anomality trying to connect to game.

A:
A) Download and use this http://www.elekta.lt/~uplink/bfd/system.zip or RC3 patch.

1.First make sure that your hosts file is in proper place.
2.Next try to use to hosts-toggle app that i attached below.
3.Completely delete your system folder and repatch with our patch.
4.With hosts-toggle app edit hosts file and add these lines after 127.0.0.1 localhost:

193.219.74.107 nProtect.lineage2.com
193.219.74.107 update.nProtect.com
193.219.74.107 update.nProtect.net

host file is in: c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\



5.Then press disable hosts in red ball near clock and then enable it ( if it was disabled do it backwards. enabledisableenable) hosts and try to run your game. This is to make sure that windows properly starts to use your hosts.
6. If you made things right then when u ping "nprotect.lineage2.com" it should show something like:

7.Try to run game it may take while it boots but it is a good sign that gameguard is updating.
8. If this does not help try completely close ALL apps includings firewalls,antivirus and other services. Make sure that windows firewall is off too.

1. go to IE Properties.
2. Go the the Connections options.
3. Click LAN settings

A: Reboot your system a couple of times if it not helps uninstall any firewall antivirus to test if it works.
